If you are a techy maybe you can help me…

First of all, let me just state that this is the reason I haven’t been posting on anybody’s blog lately.

My Google reader isn’t working. Everytime I log in when I click on my subscriptions they load and then the page freezes. I looked at the task manager that shows the processes and it showed that my computer cpu sky rockets when I have that page open which is probably why it freezes. This problem just started happening at the beginning of last week. I keep waiting and thinking it will resolve itself but it hasn’t. I checked on my husband’s computer to see if the same thing happens and it does.

Does anybody have any suggestions or ideas on how to fix this?

As soon as things are back to normal I’ll start commenting and reading like always on all your blogs, but since I don’t have them bookmarked anywhere but in Google reader, for right now I’m screwed!

  5. I second anonymous. If you’re on MSIE it could be bogging down because of that. If you’re on a PC and already using Firefox and it’s bogging, try switching to Opera browser.

  6. kyle, you might also try checking in from a different computer to see if it works fine from there. it might be something in one of the blogs that is hogging all the resources on your computer. also, if you’re using firefox, you might try loading it in safe mode–that will load firefox without any add-ons you’ve downloaded, just in case that is the source of the conflict/resource hogging.

    good luck!

  8. I didn’t read any of the above tips but I’d say subscribe to your fave blogs via google.com/ig for now, that’s how I do it and I’ve never had problems except when someone’s blog is not acting right and I email them and they fix it but your blog always updates.
