My mother is a graceful gazelle-like human being. Today we were at the start of what was supposed to be an 8 mile run. What happened next is a bit of a shocker for someone like her.

Rita fell tripped and ate sidewalk for dinner. Her knee, hands and shoulder are also bloodied up. EWWWWW.

  4. Poor Rita! Also, does anyone else think mom and daughter look even more alike in these pictures?? (Not because of the bloody eye, but just the different angles shows off how their face angles are similar).

  9. oh dear lord, that looks awful! your mom is such a trooper, she actually looks like she can really rock that bad-ass bump/black eye. So no racing actually happened? I’m just glad she’s ok! big besos to all of you, and word on being in gringolandia at the same time :)
