Way back in the day I started responding to some of the frequently asked questions I got when I ran that survey/contest on the blog. But I never got around to finishing answering all of them. So I’m going to make a video blog this weekend and try to respond to the rest of those.

I thought I’d open this back up in case anyone else has anymore questions. Feel free to ask whatever you want about Chile, my dog, my life, my weight, our travel plans, finances, photography…I am an open book!

Leave a comment on this post with your question or send me an email: kylehepp (at) gmail dot com. I’ll do a video blog and answer as honestly as possible. :)

  1. Do you keep your dog indoors? Isn’t that a no-no in Chilean society?

  2. I have two questions, if that is OK. :) First: Why did your mom send you to Chile so long ago? Second: Was that your first trip out of the US? OK I fibbed, I have one more: Do you think that that particular experience allowed you to become open to other cultures, places, ideas, etc., or was that already ingrained?

  5. Where do you find the time to do all that you do? How many hours a night do you actually sleep? Are you up at the crack of dawn? Where do you get all your energy from? What do you despise most about Chile? Whats your thoughts on winter in Santiago…summer?

  9. Hi Ms. Lucky Gypsy :) I actually did a post on that topic a while back, probably before you were a reader. Here’s the link: http://ohquepasa.blogspot.com/2008/10/bloggingwriting-for-living.html

And everyone else, your questions will be answered in the video!

  10. Another question. It always bugged me how Chileans feel that thay are so family oriented while, in fact, they never have dinner together, the kids have a TV in each bedroom, the father doesn’t come home until at least 8:00 PM and the mothers are more interested in complaining about the nanny then helping with the kids homework. Have you experienced family life in Chile?

  12. sorry to come in late with this, but your (lovely!) hair has me curious… how it went from curly to straight, how it looks anything from medium brown to blonde to white! i was wondering if you dye/straighten/do anything to it, or is it just naturally changable? (i would love for my own hair to magically become straighter, but i think i’ve missed that ship…)
