April 1, 2009

I’ve been living in Chile for about four years now and blogging for two. I really have this country completely figured out and I have nothing more to write about.

This is my last post on JMCS.

S. and I are ready for a standard vanilla life in the U.S. and since once we move back I’ll never have anything to complain about again, I think this blog has run it’s course.

Read more about my decision to quit blogging here.

  1. I haven’t been April Fooled in a long time. And believe it or not, I’ve never been RickRolled.

Excellent work, K. And to think I believed you!

  3. Ha, ha! I loved the part that when you move back you’ll never have anything to complain about again. Too funny!

  4. What a cruel thing to do to your audience of mostly blondes! (just kidding) You had me for a half of a second but thought maybe this was related to the big news you have been talking about (weren’t we supposed to find out last week???) (side note about Aimee- Patience is NOT one of my virtues) :)

I like the gmail April Fool’s joke….if ONLY the auto pilot existed it would make my work life so much better.

You wouldnt get this from any other guy

I just wanna tell you how Im feeling
    Gotta make you understand

    * never gonna give you up
    Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
    Never gonna make you cry
    Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

Weve know each other for so long
    Your hearts been aching
But youre too shy to say it
Inside we both know whats been going on
We know the game and were gonna play it

And if you ask me how Im feeling
Dont tell me youre too blind to see

  7. You guys, how could you fall for my trick?!? I thought that I was being SO sarcastic that there was no way anyone would fall for it. :)

Now I am NEVER going to get that song out of my head, either!

And on a completely unrelated note, man do I wish I were at the stadium right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. I did not fall for it… that said, I couldn’t wait to see what you had linked to!!! Hilarious.

I did, however, on another blog fall for a 9 mo pregnant friend who announced her baby boy and that she was naming him Grover. Should have been tipped off by the 13 lb weight.

  9. 13 pounds Clare?!? There are anorexic actresses in Hollywood who weigh less than that, jajaja!

Man, I should have announced a fake pregnancy…that would have been even better. :)

  11. I actually misread that and thought that you were saying that you’re moving to the US and thus have nothing else to blog about. I was so excited (for my own selfish reasons, hahaha). And then. LET DOWN.

    Comment by Amanda — April 1, 2009 @ 5:22 pm

  12. I fell for it too.

And I was at the estadio, and it was painful. And disappointing because I SO wanted to yell “gooooooooooooooooool!” and couldn’t…agh csm.

That being said, I’m glad you’re not quitting Kyle. That would have made me quite sad.

  14. Oh my gosh, you so fooled me! That’s a great one!!!

    Comment by Andi — April 2, 2009 @ 8:55 am

  15. I fell for 3 April fools jokes including one. I am so gullible. But in my defense I also thought it might be something to do with the “big news” you are stringing us along with.

  16. I can’t believe I almost fell for it. But then that first note and it was all over. Good call Kyle. I missed April Fools…no one seems to be clever and humorous at the moment around me…sigh.

    Comment by Emita — April 2, 2009 @ 10:17 am

  17. OK…have to say that I loved the song so much I left Rick open in another tab while I kept working. And, I think it’s hilarious how April Fool’s jokes are now of the e kind. Love it!
