In case you missed it, I just did their Getting Ready post earlier today. And I am going to do all the bridal party pics/reception shots for tomorrow. I am a blogging machine.

I already blogged about how much I love when a bride and groom do First Looks. So I was definitely thrilled to hear that Heather and Nick wanted to do one as well. In this case, more than make time for photos and fit better into the planning of the day, I think that the First Look was perfect for them, because they both seemed more at ease once they had seen each other. Neither Heather or Nick were ever uptight about the wedding stuff going on around them beforehand, but once they saw each other, they were even more relaxed and happy.

Heather started tearing up when Nick saw her for the first time.

And then the ceremony was in one of the most unique churches I’ve ever been in. It was stunning. The light, the design, the airiness of it all was so amazing. And the priest who married Heather and Nick was awesome too. The ceremony was really beautiful and truly personal. He knew them well, cared very much about them as a couple and it came through in every word that he spoke.

Heather’s Dad and Mom both walked her down the aisle and I love this moment she shared with her Mom as she gave her away.

I really like the composition on this one. I had to wait for quite a while for Heather to be still enough for me to get it with just one of her eyes showing like I wanted!

I don’t know why but there’s something about this shot of a bouquet on the floor that Seba got, that really grabs me.
