I had hoped to be finished editing Sarah and Tom’s entire wedding…but then we had a monitor calibration emergency on my new computer. So, I’m back to my old computer, which is slow as molasses, and using this machine, unfortunately there was zero chance that I could work fast enough to finish. But, here are some getting ready pics for now. I actually kind of like the idea of separating the wedding into multiple posts since it seems easier to look at in this format with less photos in each post, right?

Anyway, here goes…

Sarah’s sisters helped with her makeup. They are wedding pro’s by now! Alisha (the adorable pregnant woman) just got married less than a year ago, now Sarah is married off, and Amber will most likely be tying the knot sometime soon too. Poor John (their dad)!

I know this one is a little out of order in the sequence of things, but I’m saving the best for last. This is one of my all time favorite weddings shots I’ve ever taken — maybe because it’s a nice composition. But probably mostly because I took it of one of the best friends I’ve ever had and I like the significance of the letters on the wall. Sarah is one of the most faithful people I know and uses prayer to get her through everything from her day to day happenings, to the big challenges that life throws her way.

I’m going to bed now, it’s 5AM and I’ve been working on editing these photos all weekend long, non-stop. i’m exhausted. Tomorrow I’ll post more, but right now I need to sleep in a bad way!

PS. I know Tom isn’t actually in any of these, but he may or may not make a guest appearance in tomorrow’s post with pics of the ceremony. We’ll see.
