Seba always wants to take pictures of me. I always want him to stop.

My problem is that I always think I look fat. And Seba’s constantly taking unflattering photos of our brides (and me) that I have to delete. He thinks that good composition makes a good photo. Seba doesn’t realize that if a woman sees a picture of herself that is in every single way technically perfect and has the best composition ever — yet she thinks she looks fat or has a double chin or sees any other insecurity — she will despise said photo.

Our hotel in Turin is the old Fiat auto factory reconverted. So on the roof is the old testing track that they used for the cars. Now you can jog on it. After I went up there for my run the first night we were here, I came back down and said, “It’s SO cool. I wish we had a couple to shoot up there!” Alas, we did not. So Seba photo shot me. But I made him promise to take only flattering pictures :)

I was walking around barefoot up there so you can see how black my feet are. I am only traveling with flip flops, gladiators or tennis shoes, none of which look right with my new dress. So I chose to go without.

This is the view of Turin from the roof. You can see the Olympic walkway, built when Turin was host city back in the day.

Love these three that go together here. My concept, Seba’s execution.

Seba also took this shot of the Olympic bridge thingy, which I adore.
