English translation at the bottom of the post*

When there are people getting in the way…go with it!

I love this moment, captured from two different views…

The picture on the right was inspired by a photo that Seba took of me on our hotel roof in Turin, Italy and then the picture on the left is my FAVORITE. By far! It was the last picture of the night and I’m so happy that we stopped for “just one more,” which is actually what I had been saying for the last half an hour of the their session, hahaha!

As my husband says, Anita and Alan are part of the family, “Los Waffles.” Waffle is Anita’s brother’s nickname, and coincidentally was the first groom who hired us to photograph his wedding. So that couple is the guilty party for having started all of this insanity, haha!!  Last night I hosted a cocktail to celebrate our first year of business and Anita said that when Alan asked Anita to marry him she didn’t have a ton of plans and didn’t really know what she wanted to do except for one sure thing — that we would be her photographers.  I was so happy to hear that, because the truth is that we already feel like we’re part of the Waffle Family. Actually, we even went to have a family lunch with them and their parents before their session, haha!

And this couple, to say it in proper Chilean is “para cagarse de la risa,” aka absolutely effing hysterical. We had SO much fun photographing them. Anita doesn’t like having her picture taken and she kept trying to run away, but in the end we managed to capture her…in every sense of the word…to show her as beautiful and full of joy as she is.
