Well, we’re leaving for Buenos Aires today even though I’m still pretty sick :( There’s not much we could do about it though. We bought the tickets in a LanChile sale so they wouldn’t let us change the flights for a few days later. Fortunately, while not even close to 100%, I do feel infinitely better than yesterday and I’m confident that I’ll be up and ready to go in time for the wedding on Sunday. Seba booked us a nice hotel, it was a little bit more than we had planned on spending, but a justified splurge since our only plan for the next couple of days is to rest in our room. Well, actually I should speak for myself. Maybe Seba’s going to check out what the Argentinean nightlife is all about without me!

And since everyone asked for more pictures with posts, here you go. We really do photograph pretty much every second of our lives, I just don’t like to put many of those up! This was me, Saturday night from 3-5am in the emergency room. Super fun!  I felt absolutely chilled to the bone, so cold I was shaking, and they wouldn’t give me any more blankets because I had a fever. Supposedly the IV I was hooked up to was supposed to make me feel better and less cold. Lie. ALL LIES!!! I get cold just looking at this picture and remembering how frozen I was!

  7. Just can't get enough hospital action, eh? Sorry to hear you've fallen ill again– is this at all related to your accident? It seems like there were some serious complications after you were initially released and I'd hate to hear this hasn't been resolved yet…

  10. Ick, I can feel your pain. There's nothing like not being able to get warm. I hope you're feeling better already! Sleep will do you good.

P.S. Got 5 vaccinations on Friday and thankfully no flu-like symptoms, but I was nauseous and owww.. I forgot how much it can hurt the muscles in my arms.

  17. Brendan, thank goodness this actually was not accident related. I'm still taking an anti-hystamine because the allergic reaction that I had to the bandages just keeps on coming back, but beyond that, everything else is good.

And yeah, they actually know me by name in the ER. It's kind of scary.

  20. UGH. Five vaccinations all at once?!? That's definitely cruel and unusual punishment.
