Annie and Kevin threw the rules out the window on their wedding day. I absolutely adored that about them. Getting married wasn’t about traditions and conventions, it was about Annie and Kevin simply being themselves and celebrating their love in a way that fit them. They even saw each other before the ceremony and walked down the aisle together. So. Awesome.

Really, it was obvious their entire wedding was So. Awesome.  Annie is one of those rare people who has the gift of making anyone in a room with her feel totally comfortable and happy. She’s funny and loud and charming and when I first met her, I could not even fathom what this “cute little gringo,” she had talked about would be like. When I met Kevin, I understood. He’s maybe the only man on the planet confident enough in himself to keep up with Annie. :) They’re a perfect match.

  9. Kyle- I can't wait to see all the photos! I was so bad at posing for any serious shots. I just kept smiling because I was enjoying myself so much! So happy to have you as my photographer!

  10. Ahhh, I wish I could set up lights to make that happen at every ceremonia civil we shoot, but that was really luck. There was a table with a glass top and a regular light sitting right on it next to the table she was signing.

  13. Hmmm, I'm not sure I know what you mean?

In photoshop I use Adjustments>Selective Color and then I boost the magenta in the neutrals and blacks to give the photos a warmer look, if that's what you mean?

  17. Thank you Madame…

Well, here's one way…the Ritz wasn't going to let them let Seba and I sit at a table in the main dining room (which I request of all our guests, so that we're never far from the action) and she got us in even though they thought she was crazy. Her Dad didn't walk her down the aisle, they came down together, and they got ready together, instead of a normal slideshow that just shows baby pictures and them growing up set to music, they had their parents go up and narrate their whole story, then when it got to the part of them meeting they went up and narrated the whole thing. It was really cool!
