Normally I have all my blog posts of the week written and prepublished, or at least planned out in my head, before Monday in effort to post regularly and keep content interesting. But, I’m in the middle of a 9 wedding run and things are crazy. Keeping up with editing is taking all my time at the moment, so today you’re getting a random hodgepodge of photos :) There are some from Emily and Rodolfo’s engagement session that I wasn’t able to publish at first, because we were at a top secret location and had to get permission from the president. I know they’ve been on the blog a lot lately, but I don’t think anyone is sick of their hotness. And then a few from Sarah and Pipe’s wedding that I missed in my first go round looking through pics to put on the blog but that are too good to resist showing! And of course, the behind the scenes that Seba always grabs of me. I need to start taking more of him. But I’m not as calm as he is under pressure. I can only focus on one thing at a time, that one thing being the bride and groom.

First off, here’s Pipe, when he saw Sarah come down the aisle. He started clapping. Beyond adorable! I LOVE this shot that Seba took!

Then here are a couple behind the scenes from the same wedding. I’m all purpose — photographer and veil tester.

Here I am being sneaky at the church.

During the group pictures Sarah and Pipe wanted us to jump in because they are not only clients, but good friends as well. So first I went…

And then Seba. Yes. We do wear the same thing to almost every wedding :) I’m not ashamed.

Here’s a behind the scenes look at me shooting Keith and Jane’s session.

And in a different day, we brought Papi and Lola, Emily and Rodolfo’s dog to the park with them because we thought they could play while we finished up their session. MISTAKE. There were doggie tales running out of so many of my photos. But fun, nonetheless :)

Here the photos from the top secret location. Which is not the aforementioned park.

And me getting the shot. Note to self: not the most flattering dress in pictures from behind!

I’ll admit that this was a mistake. Emily’s flash didn’t fire. But I think it actually looks really cool like this! And lord knows, the world could always use more photos focusing on the pobre novio :P

I love this shot so much. SO MUCH.

Just for reference so you can see where we were to get the above shot. We had to climb on the roof!

  2. OMG I had no idea that Pipe began to clap when he saw Sarah (I was too worried about the bride's veil at that moment)! That is the cutest I have ever heard of! And his face is priceless. Ah the beauty of wedding.

Great pictures of E&R. I have to say that your pictures just keep getting better and better with each shoot!

    Saludos!

  7. The groom clapping for the bride…sniff…so beautiful! His face just says it all! Love the location for Emily and Rodolfos shoot! The old abandoned building is so cool!

  8. The mistakes are always the best. You can't plan good photography! I always crack up too when I see something that frustrated me during the session or the wedding turn into a really good pic.

  9. Oddly enough, I hadn't realized that Pipe clapped either, even though I was the one who took that shot, HAHA! I am way too absorbed in thinking about where I need to aim my camera next in order to not miss anything.

Thanks so much for the compliments, I'm glad you think we are getting better!
