In case you’re wondering what we’re up to these days and why I haven’t been as regular about blogging lately, it’s because we’re road tripping!

We flew from NYC to Miami, hung out there, and then drove up from Miami to Nashville (14 hour drive, looong). My Dad loaned me his iPhone so that’s the camera I used on all these in case you’re wondering why the quality looks juuuuust a tad bit different than our normal pics.

Sauce lloron en Georgia

Dog ice cream bars, how freaking cool is that?!?

Dog Treats

Seba loves it.

Road Trip face

Seba also loves driving the entire way because I forgot my driver’s license in Chile. Smart.

Rest station time

We have some sessions to post but we are still having Mac drama — the computer we ordered had to be sent back because it was DOA. They replaced the hard drive and sent it back to us. It then worked, but the hard drive was making grindy/clicky/hard drive failing noises. So they are replacing the whole computer but in the mean time I don’t have anywhere to edit photos :(

  1. We went on a road trip from Austin to Denver a few years ago, my husband was so excited about it, but we had a toddler, so it was rougher than he imagined haha. I hope your computer issues are resolved quickly.

  3. All my boyfriend wanted to do in the US was drive my car. I only let him do in twice for about 5 minutes each time because sometimes his driving in Santiago concerns me and I didn't want any problems. Have fun on your trip!

  4. Never be afraid to drive without a license. I do it everyday in Chile. When pulled over by the carabineros, I faked a gringo accent and pretended I was here just visiting. :o ) MISS YOU GUYS!!!

  5. Proof that you are a great photographer. Even with a sub-par device, you still manage to have flair!

  6. Not for human consumption, I wonder how could it taste like xD
What a beautiful day to drive, and you both look so happy together, I think that´s what make so lindas the pictures.

  7. Hmm..I may have to try that whole “forgetting my license” trick. Brilliant.

I'm glad they are getting you another new computer! I can't believe you got 2 bad hard drives in a row! That still doesn't scare me away from lusting after a Mac, though. :)

    Have a terrific time!

  9. So Seba does smile!
Looks like the two of you are having a blast.
    Nashville? Do tell.

  10. Nashville is really cool! We were actually right outside Nashville in a little city called Franklin, which is sort of swanky but also has a lot of cool history!

And Seba only smiles when he's in Tennessee :P

  12. I know, even after all this trouble I still love the Mac that we already have more than anything. I am not exaggerating at all when I say that it changed my life. 2 bad hard drives in a row is just reaaaally bad luck.

  13. Some of Papi's treats smell so good I would totally eat them if there wasn't a warning on the label :P

  14. Haha, thanks Lindsey! I actually really like the iPhone camera, it just doesn't have any manual controls so you basically have to take whatever the camera gives you!

  15. But that's in Chile! As Seba says, we're in the “pais de las consequencias” so I'm too scared!

  16. Breaking any laws in the U.S. just makes me nervous. I'm afraid they'll deport me. And Seba. Even though I'm a U.S. citizen and he's here legally!

  17. I hope you are having a blast with your mom!

  18. How's the scenery on the way to Denver from Austin? I'd imagine there's not a ton to see is there?
