Before I get into the meat and potatoes of this post, I just want to remind you that if you haven’t taken my survey yet, please do so! If you fill it out, you’ll be entered to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card. That, and you’ll be helping me to make this blog a better place for everybody :) So please do so. Thanks! I promise that I’ll also compile all the questions that you guys have asked in the comments of the survey and do a blog post responding to them all. Moving on.

Naomi and Rodrigo got married last Saturday at Rodrigo’s family’s stunning property in Puente Alto. The beautiful grounds have been a part of the family for a long time and there is so much history already there. The vibe for the whole wedding went perfectly with a place with such a rich past. Naomi’s custom made dress was very vintage-looking. She designed it herself and she was clearly inspired by her location! She wore it with a birdcage veil that she made herself. Which brings me to my next point — Naomi is Super Bride. You are not going to believe it when you read about all the things she did herself. A normal bride can barely find the time to breathe before getting married. Naomi? She found the time to spend three days making pastries for the entire dessert buffet! I’m telling you, SUPER BRIDE. ETA: Here is the link to her business’ website! Check it out, you won’t be disappointed, her desserts are beautiful! http://www.facebook.com/LaGringaHandmade

Let’s see, what else? These gorgeous shoes — she added the bows.

Naomi made this bouquet too — with flowers she picked from one of the gardens on the grounds. It came out so lovely.

And of course, while the girls were getting ready, this is how Chilean guys do groomsmen photos :)

The back of this dress was my favorite part. So elegant!

LOVE this shot. Absolutely adore it.

This next one was taken two seconds after the above shot. Naomi was just fixing her shoe. Isn’t it interesting what a different perspective can do for a photo?

Here are some of said pastries that Naomi made!!!

Amazing, really.

Her wonderful maid of honor, Kirstin, has an incredible voice, so she sang a few songs to the newlywed couple (including their first dance song).

  1. Just gorgeous Kyle! I’m sure Naomi and Rodrigo love them! I can’t believe she made so much of it herself, but at the same time you can tell that she did, because everything seems to suit the two of them so perfectly. Such a lovely wedding and beautiful photos :)

  8. This is the difference between a Chilean wedding, and one with a foreign touch. The personal details give the wedding so much more to the people who are there on the day, and of course to the couple. In contrast, the Chilean “out of the box wedding” is so boring and not personal at all. Congratulations to Naomi and her husband for being distinctive and to Kyle and Seba for the amazing photos. Best Ive seen yet!!

  9. obsessed with that dress. really. the grecian-inspired draping in the back is wonderful. it’s so elegant and ethereal perfect for an outdoor wedding (hate when people wear those big poofy dresses to a summer outdoor wedding – it’s like you just konw they’re sweating to death)Also love the head piece. who designed her dress?

  12. I love that you take risks, and I mean I REALLY REALLY do love that you take them! Love the third shot down, and the one of the bouquet on the chair. But my absolute fave is definitely the one with the woman in the door staring at the bride. So artistic!

  13. WOW. I think this is one of my favorite sets ever. And Super Bride takes my breath away… self-designed dress, homemade veil, CUPCAKES… I sort of want to be her.

  14. Beautiful!! Love your style, Kyle! Groovy groomsmen shot, and I love all the ones of the bride showcasing her sculpted, dancer-like back — especially the BW overhead one with her hairpiece.

  16. Amazing work, Kyle! I always love looking at your photos, your angles and compositions always make me look twice to make sure I didn’t miss everything that you capture in every scene. Terrific reception coverage as well :)

  18. That mirror shot is awesome. (4th one down, I think). I don’t think you’ve ever shot just a plain ole boring american wedding, I swear. I want to be invited to a wedding half as fun as the ones you and Seba shoot. :) Shh, don’t tell any of my friends who’ve recently tied the knot.

  22. Those cupcakes are insane. I wouldn’t know where to start making them even with all the time in the world, much less right before my wedding! I also love the bouquet. What a gorgeous wedding.

  25. Kyle, these are lovely. The ceremony shots in particular – it looks like a challenging place to light properly, but they are stunning. The couple must be thrilled!
