While we were at my dad’s house outside of Miami, we took some pictures. Duh. What else would we do?

My dad used to be a chef. He made Seba a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich. I don’t eat cheese but I did enjoy my grilled turkey :)

Love this kind of tree in FL.

One day we decided to venture about an hour north to a little town called Delray Beach. They have a great restaurant scene.

Food was GOOD.

The city is colorful and has quite an artsy side to it.

I love Florida. I love palm trees. I love heat. I love pools. It’s pretty much the ideal state for me.

My favorite photo of the day. Not because of the photo. But because the words stop me in my tracks every time I look at it.

AHHHH, I LOVE THIS COUPLE!!!!! We had SO much fun with Veronica and Pablo photographing their engagement session at South Pointe Park in Miami.  When we met them I felt like we were kindred spirits — they’re a little crazy, maybe a little unorganized, but they go with the flow, they don’t care, they enjoy life and have fun no matter what.

Love all the props they brought. We had a picnic in front of a fancy pants restaurant. A waiter even helped us open the wine.

Veronica didn’t enjoy the chugging contest :)

This next one has to be my favorite shot from the session. SO sweet. I absolutely adore it!

Ok, but I am also OBSESSED with the lines in the photo. What a cool little bridge thingy in the middle of the park!

Veronica is so beautiful.

The. Cuteness.

If you want to see more pictures of this session, check out their slideshow here.

We leave tomorrow for Colorado to go to my best friend’s wedding, AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! As my friend, Heather Jowett recently said, my excitement, “cannot be contained by lowercase.” We’re not shooting the wedding because I’m a bridesmaid, and I cannot even explain how pumped I am to enjoy this wedding as a guest. I love photographing weddings. LOVE. But that does not change the fact that it’s a job. Being a guest, being able to be in the moment, be part of the moment is so special to me. Plus, I know that Molly and Ben are in good great hands. My photographer buddy, Kat Braman, is photographing their big day. So I won’t have to be worried about whether or not the photographer is doing a good job because I know she will be :) No pressure, Kat.

Anyway, enough about a trip we haven’t even left for yet.

Time to wrap up the San Francisco posts. Here’s a quick recap in case you missed any of the write-ups:

Emily and Rodolfo’s Union Square Engagement Session that wasn’t really an engagement session at all.

Touristing around the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.

Sydney and Brian’s amazing Kohl Mansion Wedding.

Why we almost got kicked out of the city of San Francisco.

Our travel schedule for the first half of the year and one last Golden Gate pic.

I didn’t take too many photos the day we went to hang out the Embarcadero mainly because I was too busy stuffing my face with the amazing food there and chatting it up with two of my FAVORITE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD.

Please note: My two favorite people in the world are not the ones eating ice cream in this pic. In case there was any confusion, they’re not actually in this pic at all.

If you aren’t San Franciscoan, the Embarcadero is a big port building that houses a ton of gourmet foodie stores/restaurants.

Hi Rebecca. Heart you. Ruthie, heart you too, but you have no blog. Get on that, would you?

In case you can’t read, the sign below says “Tasty Salted Pig Parts.” That’s clearly not where I wanted to eat, but I thought that name was funny enough to photograph — kind of like the Museum of Jamon stores everywhere in Spain.

Rebecca and Ruthie pointed out the fancy little Argentina empanada booth. Not as cool as a Chile empanada booth would be.

The building from the outside. They have an arts fair with little booths selling stuff set up, lining the walk to get in to the Embarcadero. Just like Santa Lucia in Santiago, except sixteen times as expensive.

Here we document Yogenfruz. The ice cream company that also exists in Chile. We thought the business was Chilean, but turns out it’s Canadian. And they hated me for not knowing what probiotics were.

After eating our way through the Embarcadero we hit up a St. Paddy’s Day Street Party in downtown San Fran. Lots of beer and people dressed like slutty leprechauns — always a treat :)

Little backstory on the video — I asked Rebecca and Ruthie if they would dance with me, so I could make a historic dancing video with multiple people in it, but the band kept playing like the first thirty seconds of a song and then stopping. So we tried.
