Megan and Felipe are both so wonderful and SO genuinely kind. When we met up with them shortly after they arrived in Chile, we felt an instantaneous love for this couple whose wedding we were going to photograph in just a few days. They’re both full of smiles and full of happy — for each other, for the people around them, for life.

Megan and Felipe are just all around good. It sounds like such a small, simple thing. Being good. But it’s not. Being a good person is a huge deal. I haven’t known them for very long, but it’s obvious from the way they treat each other, the way they treat everyone around them, and the way their friends and families talk about them, that they are both good people, right down to their cores.

A wedding is about more than just a bride and groom — it’s about a bride and a groom and their love for one another and their love for their families. And Megan and Felipe are truly lucky. They are blessed with such tight-knit families and amazing friends too. They each share a bond with their parents and siblings that you can tell is something special.

That’s where their goodness comes from. If everyone came from such great families as these two, the world would be a better place.

There were a lot of criers in this audience!

Mother of the bride + Grandmother of the groom.

I laugh every time I look at this picture. Why is Felipe torturing this poor baby?! :P

Below = one of my favorite pictures ever taken at a wedding! So fun.
