Right now I have three weeks before my next wedding. Vacation! I know to some of you, it may seem like my whole life is a vacation. It is, but really, it’s not.

I finished editing the last unfinished work I had left to do on Saturday. Of course I went into crazy creative mode and edited the entire wedding and then re-did it again just to make it even more perfect-er.

And since then, we’ve been in Michigan. Hanging out. I’ve been drinking lots of yummy wine with my mom. I’ve been doing the Insanity workout every day and even went running (accidentally) with someone who runs “two to four hours a day,” and basically made me sprint for about a mile (and while I was sprinting, I’m sure he felt like he was out for a stroll in the park).

I’ve been out to eat with friends to celebrate good news. I went over to a girlfriend’s house to meet her new baby. I’ve known and loved her since 7th grade and now she’s a mom. Kind of bonkers. I witnessed Ava Boo rolling over for the first time. WAY more exciting than I ever thought that kind of baby event could be. We were all cheering and clapping like crazy people.

Time is precious. Life really is too short. We could be gone tomorrow. My days aren’t currently filled with super cool things to blog about. In fact, we don’t even have our cameras at the moment. But this feels like a pretty good way to pass the time. I do love my life, that’s for sure!

Tomorrow I’m going to be answering some FAQ’s that I’ve been gathering from emails and day to day conversations. If you have any burning questions, please leave a comment or feel free to email me via the contact form up on the right hand corner of the website.

  5. It sounds like a wonderful time – spent relaxing. Having some time off is always good!

I have kind of a silly questions – remember I am not artsy and I hate my camera (which isn’t a very good one in the first place) – I know editing pictures is a huge part of digital photography (I assume kind of like properly exposing the film would be part of developing pictures by hand if we still used film). I only use iphoto to edit my (not so fabulous) pictures do you have any “must do’s” so I can be getting the most out of my photos?

And if I was considering getting a new point and shoot camera – do you have any suggestions of ones that would take better pictures than others – or are they all about the same?
