Anybody who knows me at all, know that I’m pretty obsessed with dogs. And Seba is even worse. When he visited me in the U.S. when we first got engaged, he was away from his house for three months and he almost cried because he missed his dogs so much.

Now, I’m not saying that Cube Dog is solving this problem in any way shape or form. BUT. I am saying that it’s a really fun way to have your puppy in the forefront of your mind while you’re traveling.

Look! It’s a fake Machasa, licking Seba!

Or a blue Papito sleeping on the computer!

Cube Dog is a really fun ap for the iPhone where you can create your own pooch. You can choose the color, the shape of the body, the size of the noise, the position of the ears — it’s all easily customizable. I’m not much of a tech whiz (at all) but I figured out how to use it with no problems (shockingly).

The graphics are really super duper nice and once you’ve made your dog you can choose for him to do various activities — pant like a real dog, for instance. You can also make him talk on his iPhone, play fetch and more.

But the real appeal of the ap is that once you’ve created your Cube Dog, you can use your iPhone camera to take pictures of your pet wherever you want! I LOVED that. We can take our fake Papito and Machasa around the world with us. I’m imagining all the great pictures I could get of Papi at the Eiffel Tower :)

If you think that the ap sounds fun, you can download it free in the iTunes store. Also, check out their Facebook page. They’re running a Cube Dog contest through June 13th!

While Cube Dog provided me with the app to review, the opinions I’ve expressed here are solely my own and represent my honest viewpoint. Cube Dog, Clever Girls Collective and I promote Blog With Integrity.
