Pierre and Virginie and their joy during their wedding day in the French countryside made from some of my favorite pictures ever, so it is no surprise that their Day After session in Lyon, France also resulted in images that I LOVE. They are a beautiful couple inside and out and it was our pleasure to be able to take their picture again.

The first shot was at the amazing Cours de Loge.

From there we wandered around the old town of Lyon. It is seriously so beautiful, you can’t even imagine.

And Vivi is the cutest, isn’t she?

The lovely people at the candy store were happy to let us take pictures in their shop. It was so nice oft them!

Vivi. Is. So. Stunning.

They look like a fairytale come to life.

Do you ever wish your city had more pink buildings? I do.

Ok, I know this might not be the most amazing photo in the world but I have to comment on this museum. It has displays of people’s lives in miniature. They are so detailed you wouldn’t believe it. Where Vivi is looking in was a house set up the way houses were back when Lyon was huge in the silk industry. They show the workers doing their job and right down to the thread that’s in the miniature needle, the scene is absolutely complete. It’s seriously incredible.

This was the photo I posted for their preview but I liked it so much I had to put it up again. I can practically hear the applause in my head and remember Vivi laughing so perfectly when I look at it. What a wonderful moment.

  1. Another awesome photo shoot, Kyle. And that couple is so adorable they hardly even look real. Especially the bride. She looks like a wide-eyed cartoon or a doll. So cute.

  4. WOW! These are amazing pictures Kyle! That candy store looks so cool! I want to visit a place like that :)

My favorites are the pictures where you mentioned they look like a fairytale (they totally do, and I thought of that before even reading what you wrote!) and the one where he is twirling her in the side street where there is nobody but them.

  19. SOOOOO good, Kyle. Super jealous of the setting. I would have had to be dragged away from a shoot like that kicking and screaming.
