There was this one time. In London. When I went to my motherland.

Champagne bottles bigger than my head.

Gorgeous fancy pants shoes all over the place.

And the world’s tackiest memorial ever (dedicated to Princess Di).

Meet Harrod’s Department store in London. World renowned.  I only took a couple pics. I was mostly busy drooling over the thought of all that bubbly.

These stripes might look familiar from Mia’s photo session in the Southbank Centre. It was overall a generally cool place to hang out.

Do you see that little store in the background that says Eat? There’s also one called Pret A Manger, or just “Pret,” if you’re cool and Londony. I guess there are quite a few more as well, but eating super organic super natural foods seems to be the big trend in the U.K. right now. I thought it was pretty awesome that you could buy a sandwich and the calories were listed right there next to the price tag. It would also say, this cup of fruit (or whatever the item was) is equivalent to 2/5 of your daily serving of fruits and veggies.

Lovage. I don’t know whatage that is, but I like it.

The London Eye!

The London Michael Jackson! He bears a striking resemblance, does he not? See? The King of Pop isn’t really dead!

Jack Sparrow was also impressively good! His movements were uncannily like the real thing.

Westminster. Super cool, especially now that I’ve been reading a crazy amount of Phillippa Gregory and hearing about all the Kings and Queens and royals that are buried there. We paid for the auto tour and thought it was definitely worth it.

No pics allowed inside so this is all you get. Pretty though, isn’t it? My favorite queen is buried in Westminster Abbey, so that was especially cool to see. Maaaary, Queen of Scoooooots.
