After I posted this blog with a picture of a nice statue booty, I got the following email from my mom with two pictures from her last trip to Russia in it and the following text,

“I think your stone guy has a nicer looking back end.  My gilded man looks a little flabby.  I can’t use any unseemly words in my e-mails because I’m typing from work and don’t want to violate (Workplace)’s S.O.P.s.”

Then the next email says,

“But I have a front view too.”

While we’re on the subject of Rita-isms, may I kindly draw your attention to her only comment on my La Sagrada Familia post? After looking at all those shots of all that amazing architecture, she says,

“Wow. I would love to see it in person someday. The turtle looks good but a little tired.”
