It really makes me feel cool to have clients that are *this* awesome.

Haley and Heyden are amazing. They went to University of Tampa, my alma mater. Both Haley and I chose the school “because it’s so pretty.” Great reason to attend a super expensive privat school for undergrad, right? Heyden studied there because he was on full scholarship to play soccer.

I didn’t meet Haley until I came back from Chile for my very last two semesters at UT before graduation. We were in Spanish class. Our love of the language and latino men bonded us instantly. She’s ridiculous. She’s a triple threat — beautiful, kind and intelligent. Oh, and she smells good. I guess that would make her a quadruple threat.

Haley totally tries to play it off like she’s not *that* smart, but she’s in law school, kicking ass, getting top grades in all her classes. Not only that, but it takes talking to her for all of two seconds to realize how passionate she is about her work. When she graduates she’ll be an immigration lawyer, helping to keep families together, keep individuals who should be here legally, who have made a life for themselves, who pay taxes, whose children are U.S. citizens — she’ll be keeping them from slipping through the cracks. I’m absolutely in awe of her, what she does, and how much heart and soul she puts into her work.

And Heyden is a police officer. Everybody say thank you to him for helping keep us all safe. To me, being a police officer seems like a really scary job, but he LOVES it. He’s like a kid in a candy store going to work, even though it’s a demanding, sacrificial job. Heyden says that his favorite thing is that no two days are the same and every shift brings new challenges.

I’m so proud to be friends with, and to photograph such incredible people. I absolutely love them. And I absolutely loved having them in front of my camera.

Zoey was basically the star of the show.

See those clouds in the background? Yeah, they caused us some trouble! This session got cut reaaaaally short by a torrential downpour that didn’t stop until it was dark out. But I have to admit, they make a great backdrop for a photo.

Downtown Tampa has a new children’s museum (I think) that has a town of cool places to shoot!

Haley is so freaking stunning! Told you, cuadruple threat.

I freaking ADORE these next two shots!

They are so adorable.

Had to grab a shot or two with the moto, duh.
While it poured rain outside, we finished up with a few shots inside Haley and Heyden’s gorgeous apartment.

Yo I’m bored with this photo shoot thing.

Think I’ll take a nap :)

Looooooving this black and white drama big time.

An immigration lawyer? Oh, total respect for her working in a field that's close to my heart.
