Let the games continue!
Vote for your favorite pictures. They will be printed out as postcards and then mailed to anyone who wants one. Reminder: You can vote for as many as you’d like.

*Seba chose all the photos for the voting. To be honest, I’m not sure why anybody would want a photo of our dog or of somebody else’s wedding. However, he insisted. And I love him. So here they are as part of round 2.
Also, don’t forget, if there’s a picture you want to see as a postcard that hasn’t been posted yet, leave a comment or email me! I will add them to the third (and final) round of voting. Thanks!
PS. If you enjoyed this post there are a few things you can do to support me and my business:
1. Do your shopping via my Amazon + B&H affiliate links in the sidebar. You can buy any item on Amazon via that link and it counts for me. Thank you mucho.
2. Easier. Click Plus 1 and/or Like. That takes two seconds and is much appreciated!
PSS. Big time gracias to everyone who has done these things already. I heart you.

There is an amazing wedding photographer based in Seattle, Sean Flannigan, who did a postcard project. So I take no credit for this amazing idea.
He had people comment on his blog and then email him their address in order to receive a postcard from him with one of his photos on it. I signed up the first round that he did and was so excited when he actually sent me mail to Chile!
So I decided that I wanted to do something similar. I emailed him twice to ask if he minded me using his idea and he did not respond so the third time I wrote, I said I’d take his silence as an agreement that it was ok.
Anyways, I really love sending/receiving mail. I always buy postcards when we’re traveling, and I write them in whatever city we’re in, but then I forget to mail them and usually end up bringing them home with me and mailing them out months later. Like 8 months later sometimes. But still. It brings me joy
So I want to put my own little twist on the game. Rather than me choosing one photo to mail to everyone, I’m going to let you guys choose which pictures will go to postcard print. As of right now I have about 100 photos pre-selected for voting options. Based off of votes I will then print out the winning photos as postcards and I’ll do a post where whoever comments on it will get one mailed to them. Make sense?

Photo #19: Lago General Carrera, Patagonia, Chile

Photo #30: Delray Beach, Florida
So now it’s time to vote. You can vote for as many as you like, but if you are going to vote for all them then feel free to note vote. Mom, I’m talking to you.
And if you have a favorite photo that you really want to see as a postcard, tell me in the comments and I’ll make sure it’s in the next round of voting.
Yay! Fun! I can’t wait to see which photos you guys choose, and then I can’t wait to print them out and send them to you!

At the very end of this post, click on the last photo and you’ll be taken to Robin and Matt’s slideshow.
I already did the full preview post of the wedding the other day but I wanted to show a few more of my favorite photos today too. The thing is, in a wedding preview post, what I want to do is tell the story of the day. I try to do that in around 30 photos, though I usually end up a bit over. If you show more images than that, the audience loses interest. It’s just like writing. You wouldn’t take three pages to write what you could have said in three paragraphs — nobody would finish reading, nobody would ever get to the point of your story.
With the photos especially, the insanely amazing shots can get lost amongst the good shots if there are too many in a post. So I try to narrow it down. I try to show the 30 photos that best tell the story. And then the slideshow is where you can go to see more.
And since I’m posting Robin and Matt’s slideshow on a different day than their original blog post, I figured I’d show a few more of my favorites. Keep in mind, with this post, I’m no longer trying to tell their story. I’m simply showing off a few more favorites that I had to cut from the first post.
I always love the more abstract shots. This was a favorite from Robin’s getting ready pictures.
The room she was in made for some great dramatic lighting. I cut the next two out because there was one other similar shot that made it in.
This was a hard call to make. It was a toss up between this and the other putting the dress on shot I ended up posting. In the end I chose the image that included the bridesmaids because I felt it told the story better, but I still absolutely love this image because of the expressions.
This one is a really cool bridal party shot that Seba took. So awesome, but a little too abstract-y for the main post.
This next shot is probably one of my top three favorites of the day. I absolutely adore it.
Seba always takes such great feet shots!
This next photo is another one that I’m kind of obsessed with. Again, too abstract-y for the main blog post but I heart it big time so I’m happy to have the chance to show it off here.
A dancing shot I thought was really fun.
And this picture is again, similar to one that was in the main blog post. In the other photo you can see people singing along with Jon, the piano player, which is why I went with that one. But in this one I love that you can see Helen and Seth, the couple in the background, making kissy faces at each other while other people are singing and laughing. There’s a lot going on.
And now, if between this post and the last post you haven’t seen enough of Robin and Matt’s wedding photos, click on the next picture to watch their full slideshow where you’ll see many many more
The songs are from a random artist that I stumbled across today called Jack & White, who I ended up absolutely loving, and then the last song is Kelly Clarkson, in keeping with Robin and Matt’s ironic playlist theme
