Summer has hit and the weather in Santiago is absolutely gorgeous. It was so nice to be outside in the setting sun, shooting an awesome couple, enjoying beautiful Cerro Santa Lucia and Barrio Yungay — two of our favorite places to shoot.

Jo and Franckie are a fellow international couple — she’s from the UK and he’s from Chile. They met backpacking through Asia! At a Latin dance party! According to them, it was the worst Latin dance party in the history of the world and Franckie was the only actual Latino there doing actual salsa and merengue and you know, Latin dances. But it couldn’t have been that bad, if it brought them together :) I love stories like that. I think it’s incredible how the universe leads us exactly where we need to be.

We went out for drinks and snacks and more drinks after the session and had a fabulous time chatting the night away. I love talking to interesting people with big ideas. Jo and Franckie are entrepreneurs and smart business people. Seba and I felt like we were in great company.

The shot below is my absolute favorite from the session! I love it!

I told Franckie to grab Jo’s butt…this session was his birthday present…I figured it was the least I could do :)

  10. Oooh I would pay a lot of money to have her hair. And I can’t resist a good cat-in-doorway shot, but they’re all lovely.

  18. For some reason I’m in love with the one with the blue background. The branches of the trees look like stars and somehow the poses of the couple adds to the symmetry and angles in that shot. Very cool. And the complete session made me laugh out loud!!

  23. GORGEOUS! Jo reminds me of a blonde Florence Welch (from Florence and the Machine). I don’t know how much editing/processing you did, but I love how bright and colorful the photos are!
