Before we go any further, I want to give a huge thanks to Declan Fleming for recommending me to Ashley and Graham. They live in the UK where he is also a wedding photographer part time so when they decided to get married at the Palomar in Chicago (as a midway point for all their friends and family, Ashley is from Illinois) they asked him for suggestions on photographers. It’s a big honor  to me that he had enough trust in me to send them my website. Thank you Declan!

Ashley and Graham’s wedding was one of the funnest weddings I’ve ever been to.

It didn’t include:
Dancing.

A bouquet and flowers.

Bridesmaids’ dresses.

Fancy schmance place settings.

Any of those details that wedding blogs would like us all to think we need to have at weddings.

It did include:
Ashley and Graham and their immense love for each other.

Their families who flew in from around the world to celebrate with them.

Close friends.

A pop quiz.

Cookies (made from scratch) and milk.

A Rube-Goldberg machine.

Intense laughter.

A ceremony done by The Rev For Whatev.

Jump rope.

Toys for adults (not those kind of toys, get your mind out of the gutter!)

In short, this day was amazing. I l absolutely loved Ashley and Graham for doing exactly what was perfect for them. It was an honor to be a part of something so unique and so special. Thank you Ashley and Graham!

I LOOOOOVE this next photo. One of my favorite wedding pictures ever taken!!!

Also, I am by no means a videographer but I made an attempt at capturing the Rube-Goldberg machine on a little video…watch it so you can get an idea of how cool it was! It worked way better in the tests prior to doing the whole thing at once, but it still functioned impressively well here!
