At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I’m going to put this out there — I get to photograph the Most. Awesome. Human. Beings. Ever.
Nikki and Ryan are such joyful, wonderful souls. They exude happiness in every possible way. They inspire those who love them to love harder and be kinder.
Nikki is a light. It is absolutely unthinkable to be around her and feel sad. I’ve always loved that about her. She’s the kind of girl you call when you’re crying because you know without a doubt that she’ll cheer you up, make you laugh and make you feel better about yourself.
And Ryan. Well. Let me just say that I’ve known Nikki since college. She and I went to UT together, we studied sports management together, were on the cheerleading team together, lived the dorm life– let’s just say we had a grand ol’ time together 
So of course, when she emailed me about photographing her wedding I was thrilled. We started catching up and obviously I wanted to hear all about Ryan or “Ry” as she calls him.
She started talking about how incredible he is. How good he treats her. Not just her, but everybody. How kind he is. What a big heart he has. How involved he is in wedding planning, not because she makes but because he wants to be a part of the process and live it with her. *Ahem* how he has great taste and picks out awesome shoes for her.
Like any sane female, I thought he sounded too good to be true.
But then I met Ry. He was everything Nikki told me, and more. I think he may be the only man on this planet that could ever keep up with her. They are truly incredible individuals. And together, they’re even more.
