I shoot boudoir sessions a lot but don’t often get permission to post. Needless to say, I am BEYOND excited to post these photos.

Way back in December I posted Vale and Stanley’s Trash the Dress session (complete with a volcano and everything!) but I haven’t posted the photos from their gorgeous destination wedding in Southern Chile yet.

The big event was held in the quaint town of Frutillar. It’s tiny, but full of personality.

Vale and Stanley’s friends and family came from all over to celebrate with them in a warm, intimate ceremony and reception. The day was so relaxed and happy…I wish we could shoot a million more with the same great vibe. Vale and Stanley laughed and laughed all day long and didn’t worry their pretty little heads about a single thing. They were kind and gracious to everybody who traveled down South for the wedding, the best hosts anyone could ask for. The wedding was more than just an event, it was a whole experience for people who made the trip!

We had an amazing time shooting this wedding. I absolutely adore this couple and their easy-going spirit and their simple joy and love of life. I hope that comes through in their photos.

PS. GIANT thank you to Leo Druker for coming down to shoot with us! He’s an incredible photographer and it was a pleasure to have him travel with us…again! Leo, let’s keep meeting up in random places around the world :)

Vale’s mom is gorgeous and graceful, I see where Vale gets it from.

I am so so drawn to this shot of the hands and the rosary. I don’t know why. Except maybe it’s because I just typed rosemary and then paused and though, “Wait a second…that’s not right…”

OBSESSED with this shot. Obsessed.

I love when couples dance cueca at their weddings! It’s not a dying tradition, that makes me smile.

So it seems some people like the new extended post format, and some people prefer the slideshows. I want to keep everybody happy so I’ll do both. This post is a quick with about 30 photos, then you can click here to see 100 photos in the extended post, or you can click here to see even more than that in their slideshow, set to music. Enjoy :)

Macarena and Francisco are two of the kindest people we’ve ever had the joy of working with. Which makes sense, because they come from two of the sweetest families we’ve ever photographed!

Their wedding was such a beautiful, emotional day. They were both a little bit nervous, not about actually getting married to each other, but about the event going smoothly. All Francisco wanted was for the day to go well so Maca would be happy and all Maca wanted was to pull it all off so that she could spend the whole time having fun with Francisco. I love how much they care about each other.

Since I spend the pre-wedding time with the bride before the ceremony, obviously I got to know Maca a little more than Francisco and I absolutely adored her. I kept thinking, “She is the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen.” So full of smiles and laughs and just really amazing energy. People like her are rare, but she absolutely exudes goodness. And then when I got to spend a little more time with Francisco I understood how he ended up with a girl like Maca — because he gives off incredible vibes too! During the family portraits when I asked if he wanted a picture with his grandma and he grabbed her and said, “Si! Es la abuelita mas linda del mundo!” You can tell what kind of man a guy is by how he treats the women in his life, so that was just confirmation of what I already knew — Francisco is a great guy.

Their wedding was held at the Santiago Paperchase centro de eventos. The banquetero was the one and only, the amazing Paulo Russo.  He killed it, as usual.

I LOVE this shot of Maca. She’s so happy and so beautiful!

Her dress was made by a designer named Cata something, I don’t know her last name but I’ll get the dato, because the dress was STUNNING!

Love this shot. Love this pregnant girl’s outfit :)

Don’t you just love the textures in this dress? So unique, so cool!

I really don’t even know what happened right here, but it was hilarious. Female guests started undressing this poor groom :)
